  Fastener laser surface treatment technology refers to the laser beam with a certain power density illuminating the working surface of the fastener at a certain scanning speed. In a short time, the surface to be treated is heated rapidly due to the energy of absorbing laser light. When removed, the treated surface is rapidly cooled by the substrate itself to cause physical and chemical changes, thereby forming a surface layer with certain properties, improving the hardness, strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature of the surface of the material. Performance, etc., can significantly improve the quality of the product, improve the life of the mold (or fasteners), and achieve good economic benefits.

  The laser has a unique advantage in the surface treatment of fasteners. The absorption coefficient of metal to laser is as high as 105~10cm-1, and the absorption process occurs in a thin layer with a thickness of 0.01~0.1μm. The depth of the laser surface treatment of the fastener depends on the distance from the surface to the inner thermal diffusion, which is small and easy to control. The laser spot has a high power density and can be accurately guided to different parts of the mold surface or scanned in a certain area. The surface of the fastener is partially treated, the power density can be accurately controlled, the energy input into the mold is small, the deformation of the mold is small, and the surface after processing can be no longer machined or only a small amount of machining is required. In addition, the laser is chemically free and easy to transfer, switch and automatically control.

  At present, domestic laser heat treatment has been applied to production practice. After the laser tempering treatment of the GCrl5 steel punching die, the service life is increased by 2 times, and the service life of the silicon steel sheet die is increased by 10 times.
